Ingrizo has been awarded a Bronze medal by EcoVadis, the international assessment platform for sustainable business practices.
This recognition places us among the top 18% of companies in our sector in terms of sustainability (82nd percentile).
This medal is an important milestone. It confirms that the choices we have made in recent years, from policy to concrete actions, are making a real difference.

What EcoVadis assesses
EcoVadis assesses companies worldwide in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Evidence, policy documents, and results are used to determine how well an organization scores on each of these themes. This results in an overall score that reflects not only the organization's intentions, but above all the decisiveness with which it translates policy into practice.
EcoVadis is currently the most widely used independent sustainability assessment system, with more than 125,000 companies assessed in over 180 countries.
The medal Ingrizo received is based on our performance compared to other companies in the international EcoVadis database. The evaluation is reviewed annually to ensure that each score reflects current progress.
Sustainability in the product chain
Our collaboration with EcoVadis helps us not only to measure and strengthen our own ESG performance, but also that of our partners.
As a distributor, we are at the heart of the sustainability chain: we connect ingredient producers with manufacturers of food, health, and pet food products.
In this role, we ensure that responsible choices are not limited to a single link in the chain, but are carried through the entire chain.
By continuously improving in the areas of the environment, social responsibility, and ethics, we help our partners and customers move step by step toward a more sustainable future, together.
Our progress
Having achieved Committed status last year, we have now climbed more than 30 percent higher.
We owe this progress to the further development of our sustainability policy, the introduction of additional policies and measures, and the launch of our first sustainability report.
We just missed out on silver, with only a two-point difference (85th percentile). Nevertheless, this Bronze medal shows that we are on the right track. It confirms that sustainability at Ingrizo is not just a promise, but a daily practice in which we continue to invest.
Our focus for the future
For the next assessment, we will focus on sustainable procurement and the further certification of our supply chain.
For us, sustainable entrepreneurship is not an end goal, but a continuous process.
With this recognition, we are once again taking a clear step forward towards a future in which growth and responsibility go hand in hand.
