To strengthen our team, we are looking for an additional passionate Customer Service Officer.
As a Customer Service Officer, you are at the heart of the operational flow. You ensure that orders are not only processed accurately, but also move smoothly from supplier to customer. You act as the connecting link between customers, suppliers, transport partners and internal teams such as Sales, Purchasing, Logistics and Finance.
Your responsibilities
Commercial support
You are in daily contact with customers, suppliers and the sales team, ensuring fast and accurate order processing, mainly within the food and health sector, via e-mail, phone, Teams, etc. You support the follow-up of leads and quotations in cooperation with the external Product & Account Managers.
Purchasing & supplier follow-up
You support the purchasing of goods and transport services. You check order confirmations and monitor correct purchase prices in the ERP system. You also closely follow up customs documents and direct deliveries.
Order Administration & Invoicing (Finance Back-up)
You link orders to the correct contracts, monitor pricing agreements and ensure accurate invoicing. You assist with the booking of purchase and sales invoices and support debtor follow-up in coordination with the Finance team.
Logistics & Supply Chain Follow-up
You organize outbound transport together with external partners and always select the most efficient solution. You closely monitor deliveries, stock movements and batch information, and take action when deviations occur. Stock counts, goods receipt registrations and verification of transport invoices are also part of your responsibilities.
Administration & System Management
You keep ERP and CRM systems fully up to date, ensure a structured and paperless way of working, and manage practical matters such as absences and work schedules. You also contribute to maintaining an accurate and efficient customer and product database.
Your Profile
We are looking for a driven professional with a passion for food and health who feels comfortable in a versatile role.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (SME Management, Marketing, International Sales / Business Management, etc.)
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial and administrative role
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken
- Strong commercial and administrative insight, with the ability to set priorities
- Proactive mindset and a genuine interest in food and health
- Comfortable and professional in phone communication
- A flexible team player with a hands-on mentality
