Functional fibre: Meltec

MELTEC® contains few calories and only a trace of sugar, which means it can be used to replace syrups in products where the sugar and energy values need to be reduced. Successful reductions of 30% and more have been reported. The structure is long and thick due to its fibrous nature, with both soluble and insoluble fibre. MELTEC® is based on ingredients of natural origin: plant fibre from legumes. It can replace sugars and syrups in many different applications, including bars.
